A Swimming Sharptooth briefly appears in The Land Before Time. It's a "giant prehistoric pike",[1] one of the species known as a Swimming Sharptooth in the franchise.
In The Land Before Time[]
During the opening of The Land Before Time, this Swimming Sharptooth is seen sleeping behind a rocky pillar. However, when a salamander swims in front of its face, it wakes up an attempts to eat the little amphibian. Fortunately for the salamander, it misses and quickly swims off.
Trivia[]
- Though the swimming sharptooth is intended to be a pike, its head resembles that of a crocodilian moreso than a pike.
