A pack of Fast Biters appear in "The Lonely Journey", though their role is small. Though their exact species is unknown, their size and the presence of sickle claws on their feet led some fans to propose that they are depictions of dromaeosaurs, which are known as Fast Biters in the television series.

During the events of the episode, Chomper, who is on a kick of attempting to make the Sharpteeth of the Mysterious Beyond friendly, notices this pack stampeding past him. He tries to keep up with them and convince them to be friendly, but they run away from him completely. Chomper then wonders what their hurry was, before he sees that they are being chased by Red Claw, causing him to hide, knowing that he can never make Red Claw friendly.
