The "rival boneheads" are two antagonistic Pachycephalosaurus who briefly appear in The Land Before Time IV: Journey through the Mists as the secondary antagonists, though their roles are very small. They are residents of the Land of Mists.

History

One of the two Pachycephalosaurus first appears when the Gang and Ali are searching for the Night Flower in the Land of Mists. It is first seen when they are hiding from a herd of Struthiomimus in a bush. The Bonehead appears behind them, roaring at them and chasing them away. As it then proceeds to walk through a misty area, the second Pachycephalosaurus approaches from the other direction. When they meet, they butt heads with each other. They are not seen again after this.
