Franklin Wendell Welker (born March 12, 1946) is a major cartoon actor, considered by many as a "voice god". Welker mostly provides the roar, growl-like sounds of the Sharpteeth, though he was never credited outside of The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving.[1] He is also known as the voice of Fred Jones and the current voice of Scooby-Doo.
Frank is also most well known for portraying in voice for Dr. Claw in Inspector Gadget and Megatron and Soundwave (among others) in Transformers and many other shows such as Freakazoid,The Legend of Tarzan and Gargoyles. He is the uncredited voice of Momma, Rudy and all the other dinosaurs in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.
