The Diggers are a colony of lizardlike, hive-minded creatures who appear in The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave. Among the diggers is a pale-colored one with three purple feathers sprouting out of its head, credited as the "Skinny Digger".

The Diggers first appear after a sandstorm wreaks havoc on the children, who have been split into two different parties after a falling out with Littlefoot. Petrie, who has been blown away from the others by the Sand Cloud, is the first to discover the rocky territory of the small animals, who appear to him after he knocks a fruit from a palm tree; after which they declare the young pterosaur their leader.
After Cera, Ducky, and Spike appear, Petrie rejoins his old friends, to the dismay of the Diggers (who had previously shown interest in feeding Cera to their 'leader'.) Soon afterwards, they find a Hollowhorn eating from the trees in their territory, which leads the colony to quickly treat it as their new leader.
