Crunch is a male crab, known as a Sand Creeper in the franchise, who first appears in "March of the Sand Creepers". He is a resident of the Sand Creeper Home who temporarily stayed in the Great Valley with the other Sand Creepers, sans Scuttle, are forced to flee their home due to a volcano eruption that they believed had destroyed it. He is at odds with Spike, as he has taking a liking to pinching him on the nose.
