Belly Dragger is the term for crocodilians in The Land Before Time franchise, stemming from the creatures' low-slung gaits. They are semi-aquatic, quadrupedal "Sharpteeth" with short legs and long jaws.
The term "Big-mouthed Belly Dragger" is used in The Land Before Time IV: Journey through the Mists to refer to Dil.
