An unnamed member of Mutt's type appears in the climax of The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving.
History[]
The character only makes one notable appearance, the rest being in various crowd shots throughout the movie. When the adults are defending the fleeing children during the Velociraptor attack, he cowers in fear, allowing the raptors to pass by him and go after the kids and Hyp's father. Later, he continues to aid in the battle.
Trivia[]
- His relative prominence in the climax along several of the children's other relatives, including Grandpa Longneck, Daddy Topps and Hyp's father, has led some fans to believe that he may be related to Mutt.
- In the final draft of the film's script, the character is repeatedly referred to as a Tenontosaurus.
